IQOS 2.4 Plus White represents an earlier chapter of the IQOS device family. Its design is straightforward: a slim Holder for the tobacco stick and a separate Pocket Charger that recharges the Holder after each use.

How IQOS 2.4 Plus Works
IQOS 2.4 Plus uses an internal heating blade and HeatControl technology. Once the Holder is charged, a compatible tobacco stick is inserted into it and the device signals its operating status through its light and vibration alerts.
Unlike IQOS 3 DUO, the 2.4 Plus Holder provides one use per charge. After that, it goes back into the Pocket Charger.
A fully charged Pocket Charger can recharge the Holder for up to 20 uses before the charger itself needs power.
White or Soft Black?
There are only two very different visual directions to consider here.
White gives the 2.4 Plus a clean, light appearance. IQOS 2.4 Plus Soft Black keeps exactly the same basic device concept but changes it to a darker, more discreet finish.
So the choice between White and Soft Black is primarily about appearance rather than technology.
Which Sticks Does IQOS 2.4 Plus Use?
This is a blade-based IQOS device designed for compatible HEETS tobacco sticks.

TEREA sticks belong to the newer induction-based IQOS ILUMA platform and are not designed for IQOS 2.4 Plus.
IQOS 2.4 Plus vs 3 DUO
The Holder charging cycle is one of the clearest practical differences. IQOS 2.4 Plus requires the Holder to be recharged after each use, whereas the later 3 DUO Holder supports two consecutive uses before returning to its Pocket Charger.
